Access to the Blu-ray discs and media files is done through the Xcross Media Bar (XMB) UI found on many Sony home entertainment products including the PS3 and PSP. There has been some criticism of this device as it lacks 1080/24p output support and will not output dts HD MA or Dolby TrueHD. The player outputs all Blu-ray movies as 1080p/60 and outputs digital audio as dts and Dolby 5.1 format.
