The Sony BDP-N460 is an Internet-ready, CD/DVD/Blu-ray disc player designed to stream Netflix, Youtube, Slacker, and other BRAVIA Internet video content. Besides playing Blu-ray discs in full 1080p HD, the device also incorporates Sony’s Precision HD Upscale technology to convert standard-definition signals (from a DVD, for instance) into near-HD quality.

And it’s equipped to decode the latest audio codec technologies, including 7.1-channel Dolby TrueHD and Dolby Digital Plus. Signature to the Sony BDP-N460 is its Internet capabilities, as it can stream content from BRAVIA Internet Video platform and is also BD-LIVE capable (purchase of external USB memory required). Additional features include Precision Drive technology for handling warped discs; built-in software for connecting to an existing wireless network; and a Quick Start Mode.
