The Sony BDP-CX7000ES is a 7.1-channel, Blu-ray disc MegaChanger player that stores and plays up to 400 Blu-ray discs, DVDs, and CDs. It features Sony’s proprietary 14-bit HD video processor — including HD Reality Enhancer and Super Bit Mapping technology — AND HD-upscaling for outputting 1080/60p and 24p True Cinema video content with detailed precision and sharpened edges.

Product Shot 2 As for audio, the system supports all major Dolby/DTS decoding technologies, as well as bit-stream output via HDMI.  Included also is an Ethernet port and BD-Live™ 2.0, allowing users to access metadata from Gracenote, software update, and BD-LIVE™ content. Additional features of the Sony BDP-CX7000ES include a USB flash memory interface, control system integration (RS232/IR), and support for HDMI 1.3 x.v. Color.
