With Philips MediaConnect you can wirelessly connect to your PC and have the contents of the computer on your TV screen, allowing you to stream movies and surf the net on the big screen. When connected without a computer the vTuner can be used for internet radio streaming, and, NetTV provides direct access to over 4500 HD channels and also supports VUDU for viewing videos and pictures from social networking sites like Twitter and Facebook. 1080p picture quality is supported at 24 frames per second, and it will upconvert non 1080p DVD's automatically. Two other models revealed at the show include the top of the line BDP5506 and BDP7506, both of which feature touch screen controls. Philips have not added these to their website at this time so specifications are still limited.
