Product Shot 1 The Pros:Connects to the Internet almost immediately once the cord is plugged in. Setup is very simple, on-screen wizards handle everything. LED numbers on the front are easy to read but not distracting, good to see how far you are.

The Cons:Online services don't include popular streaming services like Netflix or Amazon. Need to update the firmware to watch latest Blu-ray discs. No support for USB Wifi adapter.

The Panasonic DMP-BD601 is a Blu-ray disc player with several added connectivity option. The Blu-ray disc player lets you enjoy movies in their original high quality and the PHL Reference Chroma Processor Plus ensures faithful and sharp color reproduction.

The disc drive also plays regular DVD, CD and MP3/JPEG discs. You can also enjoy other media sources using the SD memory card slot and USB terminal.  It is also compatible with VIERA CAST, which allows you to enjoy content from the internet such as YouTube, Picasa and several others.  There are several output options including HDMI, component and composite video outputs and RCA and optical audio outputs.
