The Magnavox NB530MGX is an entry-level Blu-ray Disc player released in 2009. This player features full 1080p video output over HDMI with Dolby True HD and DTS Master Audio output. Users without an HDMI connection can still utilize this device via component video and coax/optical audio output.

Basic composite video and stereo sound is also supported. Blu-ray movies can be played back at 24 frames per second to provide an original cinematic experience. The Magnavox NB530MGX is a profile 1.1 player, meaning Bonus View features are supported but BD Live internet connectivity is not. Additionally, standard DVDs can be played and upconverted on this unit to 1080p with progressive scan. Users can also view photo slideshows on this player with its included SD memory card slot. For the energy conscious consumer, the Magnavox NB530MGX is Energy Star qualified. A remote control is also included.
