The LG BD300 is a Profile 2.0 compliant blu-ray player that is noteable for its ability to stream movies from Netflix's video library via its broadband connection, giving users instant access to over 12, 000 titles (in standard-definition only--also requires Netflix membership).

The player can also stream music and photos from computers and flash drives via its USB port. The LG BD300 can also upconvert DVDs into 1080p, and can decode Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master audio streams. LG's Simple Link technology allows users to control multiple LG A/V systems from a single remote.
